PhotoVoice Journalism Training in Haiti – 2010

In July 2010, Panos Caribbean carried out a series of PhotoVoice training in Jacmel, Haiti as part of a global project of the Panos Global AIDS Programme, GAP which was carried out simultaneously by three other Panos Institutes. The project, dubbed: “Reaching the Unreached” targeted out of school young people.

The training had two components; young people from Jacmel, Haiti were trained in Photovoice techniques and practising journalists from Port au Prince were also trained in the same discipline.

Delroy Whyte-Hall, a Jamaican freelance photographer and communications specialist, attended the training as part of a GAP funded media fellowship and took the following photographs of the journalist training.
