Le Réseau Panos est un partenariat mondial dynamique de huit instituts indépendants maintenus ensemble par une ensemble de valeurs.
For twenty years Panos has been working with the media and other communicators to foster debate on under-reported, misrepresented or misunderstood development issues. We believe that only by including the voices and views of those most affected by these issues – usually the poorest and most marginalized people in society – will lasting solutions be found.
It is legally registered as an international foundation in The Netherlands.
The Network is governed by the Panos Council, which is made up of one board member and the director from each institute, with a small secretariat based in New Delhi, India.
Notre Mission
Panos aims to ensure that information is effectively used to foster public debate, pluralism and democracy. We work with the media and other communicators to help developing countries shape their own agendas. We particularly focus on amplifying the voices of poor and marginalized people.
